CJC™ Filter Separators combine fine filtration with water separation all in one unit, with an integrated circulating pump. They are designed for use in applications containing hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, lubrication oil, etc., in which water ingress is a constant or recurrent problem.

CJC™ Filter Separators remove water by coalescence and at the same time minimise oil contamination levels of particles and oxidation residues (resin/varnish).

The filtration ratio of the depth filter is 3-micron absolute with a very large dirt-holding capacity. This, combined with efficient and continuous water removal from the oil, provides numerous benefits including reduced maintenance, increased productivity, and maximum lifetime of system components, in-line filters and oil.

The modular Filter Separators are built and sized to specific customer requirements – whether the oil volume is 2 litres or 200,000 litres.

CJC™ Filter Separators ensure trouble-free operation of marine hydraulics, marine diesel fuel systems, steam turbine lube systems and water-cooled hydraulic industry equipment.

The PTU3 27/- series combines fine filtration with continuous water separation. They are used for hydraulic oils, turbine lubrication oils and gear oils, removing particles, oxidation by-products (resin), and water from the oils.

PTU3 27/ Filter Separators are available with either automatic or manual water discharge. Filter Separators with automatic water discharge have a control box for monitoring as standard. Pressure drops can be monitored on a pressure gauge on top of the filter. They are also equipped with electric pressure guards.

The PTU3 27/- series come in the sizes 27/54, 27/81 and 27/108 using 2, 3, or 4 CJC™ Filter Inserts, plus one coalescer element. They are available in a range of design configurations including preheaters, drip pans, tanks, and control boxes.

The PTU3 27/- series is ideal for:

• Hydraulic oils (e.g., power packs)
• Boiler feed pumps
• Steam turbine lubrication oils
• Gearboxes with potential water ingress (e.g., wet crushers or marine thrusters)
• Lubrication oil for labelling machines
• And similar industrial and marine application where water ingress is a recurrent problem.

The PTU3 Multistay series includes off-line Filter Separators with 2, 3 or more PTU3 27/ Filter Separators mounted on a common drain tank base.

They are used for large-volume fluid systems where water ingress is a recurrent problem, e.g., turbine lubrication systems in power generation plants, on paper machine lubrication systems, in steel mills and in mining systems.

PTU2 27/27 Hydraulic is a Filter Separator for off-line installation.

The PTU2 combines fine filtration with continuous water separation and is used for hydraulic oils, turbine lubrication oils and gear oils, removing particles, oxidation by-products (resin), and water from the oils.

The PTU2 27/27 Filter Separator is available with either automatic or manual water discharge. Filter Separators with automatic water discharge have a control box for monitoring as standard.
